BE NICE TO ONE ANOTHER

BE NICE TO ONE ANOTHER

Message Tract 03.2006.01

There are times when people are more tender hearted towards strangers and friends than to the people who are close to them. The same thing may occur in marriage, where some people are kind and gentle when dealing with strangers or friends than to their spouses. In marriage learn to be nice to your spouse.

If you are an impatient person, then what you say to your partner may tend to be rude. Choose the right words to speak to your partner. If words are carefully chosen and spoken in love; it will build friendship between man and wife. A couple who has problems with being gentle and kind as they speak to one another should take the counsel the word gives in Eph 4: 31-32:

“Get rid of all bitterness, passions and anger. No more shouting or insults, no more hateful feelings of any sort, instead be kind and tender hearted to one another, as God has forgiven you through Christ. Don’t harbor hatred, bitterness and anger in your heart.”

Anger and bitterness will interfere with gentle speech. It may cause you to begin shouting at  your partner especially when coupled with lack of patience. Be a kind and considerate husband or wife. When you wake up in the morning, find out how your partner has slept. It shows care and concern. Don’t be a person who is self centered. Remember that who ever shows kindness will reap kindness. Some people wonder why people are harsh to them when they are out of home for work. Some may just be reaping what they have sown at home.

So be nice and tender hearted towards the man or woman of your heart. That is when God will bless your relationship and family .

Wishing you a blessed Journey in your relationship.
