Love That Can Change Your Life

John 14:15 NLT

[15] “If you love me, obey my commandments.

Here Jesus is saying that our genuine love for him is proven by obedience to his commands.

The “commands” are Jesus’ words and teachings, which are God the Father’s words.

His commandments are not burdensome because he is there to help us carry them out.

1John 5:3 NLT
“[3] Loving God means keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome.”

The key is love. Once we love him with the love he has poured in our hearts then we shall obey him
(Rom 5:5) and use the same love to fulfill all his commandments to us (Rom 13:8-1 0).

If you know Jesus, will you walk in his love and obey him always?

If you have no personal relationship with Jesus you can enter a relationship with him now
and you will experience a new life as you walk in obedience to him. You can do that through
this simple prayer of commitment:

Say: “Dear Jesus, I come to you as a sinner. Forgive my sins. Right now I invite you into my heart as my Lord and Saviour. Amen”.

If you said that prayer from your heart, you are saved by grace through faith in Christ (Eph 2:8).
Find a bible teaching church near you where you can go in order to grow spiritually.
Begin to read your the bible beginning from the book of John.
